Scammers are everywhere, from spam calls, phishing emails to fake accounts, your social media, your SSN, or your bank account are always at their mercy. It appears to be the case for EDM artist Slushii. The DJ took it upon his social media to explain how he lost his SoundCloud account to a scammer back in 2020. The DJ expressed his frustration as he explained that he even filed a report with the FBI without a response.
After multiple attempts to get it back, the account has officially been deleted by SoundCloud. The artist explained in his post that the account is more than just social media, but an outlet for fans and users to discover his music. The account itself already had years of releases, comments, and interactions.
Failed Attempts
Slushii has been trying to regain his account back throughout the years. His social media post shows screenshots in which he is requesting his account back to an individual that confirms they took the SoundCloud. The DJ also recounts that this is not the only time that the music platform has deleted one of his accounts unjustly.
Furthermore, Slushii is now taking it up a notch. He submitted a request to the FBI directly to help him with his quest to get his account back. In addition, the artist is asking for help from his community members to tag SoundCloud and assist with escalating the situation. The future is uncertain for Slushii’s account.
