A State Of Trance has officially announced they will be returning to Rotterdam for a massive 2 day festival at the Ahoy in 2027. Starting from Friday February 26th Armin van Buuren will return for a five hour set, during the extended set fans will get to experience a journey from trance classics to new music. The Friday program will feature 3 stages at the Ahoy venue.
For Saturday February 27th, A State Of Trance will feature 5 stages bringing together some of the most exciting and established artists from across the global trance scene. Adding to the excitement, Armin van Buuren will open the day with an exclusive vinyl set. The intimate set will offer fans a different side of Armin where fans can expect trance classics and will be included exclusively for guests staying in the official hotel packages. Fans can also gain access to the set by purchasing an Early Access ticket. Recently he played a vinyl only set in Ibiza giving fans a hint of his vinyl sound.
The bar for 2027 has been set sky-high following the legendary ASOT 2026 edition. Celebrating a monumental 25 years of A State of Trance, the 2026 gathering brought 50,000+ ravers to Rotterdam for one of the most musically diverse editions to date. With the five stages fans can expect each stage to feature a different genre of trance from progressive to high energy 138 style trance. The production takes over a massive warehouse for an immersive visual experience.
