Alesso‘s latest concept, “The One,” received high acclaim from fans attending shows across the U.S., as well as an exclusive hometown event in Stockholm, Sweden. Celebrating the successful tour and extending the experience, Alesso released his similarly titled EP, The One, featuring two standout IDs from his recent performances. The One is out now, on Body Hi and Tomorrowland Music. Listen below.

The EP includes ‘Get Your Groove On,’ Alesso’s captivating intro from his recent tour and festival shows, and ‘Smoke Machine,’ a high-energy banger that quickly became a fan-favorite. The visual and stage elements of ‘Smoke Machine,’ combined with the song’s intense vocal and blaring synths made for exceptional moments in recent live sets, such as at Tomorrowland Belgium. Together the tracks represent Alesso’s continued modern direction, fitting perfectly alongside previous Body Hi records.

Of course, The One EP is not comprehensive of the IDs played throughout the tour; more new Alesso music is, as always, in the works, including some songs with his classic, progressive style.

These songs were written to create moments that stay with you long after the show is over. “The One” started as the name of the stage we built, but it has grown into something much bigger. It’s a feeling, a memory, and now it’s captured forever in this EP.

Tomorrow, Alesso will play his final announced “The One” show in New York City, which will also feature a rare B2B set with Gryffin. Following that, Alesso’s schedule includes festival appearances at Creamfields, Goldrush, Ultra Japan and EDC Orlando, in addition to his Las Vegas and Ibiza club shows.
