Wax Motif is back with new music, and this time he’s bringing rising producer Spin Off along for the ride. The pair just dropped ‘Naked Girls’ via Wax’s own imprint, Divided Souls, and it’s exactly the kind of raw, sweaty bass house cut fans have come to expect from him.

The track leans into blaring sirens, thick grooves, and basslines built for big speakers. There’s a seductive hook running through it and an attitude that doesn’t apologize for itself — it’s the sound of a Wax Motif club set distilled into three and a half minutes.

The timing isn’t random. ‘Naked Girls’ arrives just ahead of Wax Motif’s headline show at Grand Park in Los Angeles, which he’s calling the biggest production he’s ever put together. Expect a new audiovisual setup, large-scale outdoor staging, and visuals nobody’s seen from him before. He’s also planning to use the night as the live debut for a batch of unreleased material, giving the LA crowd a preview of where his sound is headed next.

This release follows a genuinely busy stretch for the Australian-born, LA-based producer. He came off a standout set at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, dropped his sophomore album House of Wax II, and has kept a steady release schedule on Divided Souls, including Beatport top 10 records like ‘Gimme That Money’ and ‘Run It Up.’ House of Wax II itself pulled in a heavy list of collaborators — Ty Dolla $ign, ZHU, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jozzy, Maeta, MC Lan, 24hrs, and GTA among them — blending house with hip-hop, R&B, and club sounds from around the globe.

Wax Motif also has a run of House of Wax II tour dates lined up across the U.S., hitting Orlando, Tampa, Las Vegas, and Portland over the coming weeks before that Grand Park show in LA.
