Trance icon Armin van Buuren is teaming up with DIØN for a hard hitting sound ready for the mainstage. Featuring vocals from Scruffizer, the record blends Armin van Buuren’s trance roots with DIØN’s signature hard dance sound. The unique crossover marks a new chapter as the collaboration continues to chart an artistic evolution that seems to increasingly blur the boundaries between genres, hinting at a broader creative vision while staying true to the hardstyle energy.
Having built his reputation at the darker end of the hard techno spectrum, with support from artists including Sara Landry, Amelie Lens, Nico Moreno and Fatima Hajji, DIØN has gone on to perform at festivals and events including Awakenings, Verknipt, Soenda and Mysteryland, alongside releases on Armada Music and his own Rough Material Records imprint.
For Armin van Buuren, the release adds to a career spanning more than two decades at the forefront of electronic music. A five-time DJ Mag Top 100 winner, Grammy nominee and co-founder of Armada Music, he remains one of dance music’s most influential artists. Armin is not shy to play some hard style during his main stage sets with his new single ‘Euphoria’ he made a hard style drop to close his mainstage sets. While another popular song ‘Blah Blah Blah’ was remixed to a hard style drop that is also a popular hit in his main stage sets.
The song was teased at Awakenings and DIØN joined Armin on stage at the Amsterdam Music Festivals in 2025.
