In one of the most meta news stories of the week, Swiss electronic DJ duo Adriatique announced their collaboration with the international restaurant chain Joe & the Juice for their “Juicy Beats” Tour. Starting in New York City this Saturday, July 18th, Adriatique will bring their pulsating melodies around the world in determined Joe & the Juice locations for six intimate shows.
“The Juice is Loose”
The Nordic brand began in Copenhagen and has now opened over 472 bars in 20 countries. Their official website exposes how dedicated they are to sustainability, including high-quality ingredients, reusing and recycling practices, and carbon footprint management. Joe & the Juice also focuses on a diverse staff, with predominantly women employees in leadership roles. Of course, Adriatique is the perfect partnership for the chain, as the duo continuously involves itself in sustainability practices. For example, they planted one tree per ticket sold in Athens during the Quarry of Dyonyssos show. Their collaboration does not end there, however. Each stop will debut two special, limited-edition health shots. This aligns with the brand’s no-liquor DJ sets they have done in the past. According their social media post, one shot will be sweet and the second one will be spicy.
Juicin’ Around the World
Adriatique and Joe & the Juice begin their “Juice Beats” Tour this Saturday, July 18th, in NYC, followed by Zurich in September. Then, they will reach Brussels and Amsterdam in October, finishing the last two stops in London and Los Angeles in November.
