Innellea is releasing new music alongside a collaboration that nobody in dance music saw coming. The German producer drops his single ‘Bounce Music‘ on his own label belonging, and he’s pairing it with an official partnership with wheeled-shoe brand Heelys.
The news comes via a music video for the track, which finds Innellea announcing the Heelys tie-up in a tongue-in-cheek clip rather than a standard press rollout. It’s an unusual move for an artist known for melodic techno and deep, hypnotic productions rather than early-2000s skate-park nostalgia, which is exactly what makes the pairing stand out.

Heelys, for anyone who didn’t grow up rolling through mall food courts, is the footwear brand behind the wheel-in-heel sneaker that defined a specific era of playground culture. Its resurgence in recent years has made it something of a nostalgia touchstone, and Innellea’s decision to fold that into his own visual identity gives ‘Bounce Music’ a playful edge that separates it from the rest of his catalog.
Innellea has spent the last several years building belonging into one of the more distinctive imprints in the melodic house and techno space, with a roster and sound that leans into introspective, groove-driven productions. ‘Bounce Music’ appears to push toward something lighter and more playful, at least visually, while presumably keeping his production signature intact on the audio side.
The single and its accompanying video are go live on all platforms and YouTube at 5pm CET.
