Marshmello is heading back to the Bay Area, and he’s picked Halloween weekend to do it. The GRAMMY-nominated producer will headline a two-stage Block Party at The Midway SF on Friday, October 30, marking his first headline show in the region since 2018.
Joining Marshmello on the bill are Armnhmr, CHYL, and Grabbitz, with more names expected to be added to the lineup as the date approaches. An official afterparty is also in the works, though details on that piece haven’t been announced yet.
The Midway SF has become one of the city’s go-to spots for large-scale electronic events, with its warehouse-style layout and flexible multi-room setup making it a natural fit for a block party format. Splitting the night across two stages gives Marshmello and the support lineup room to run simultaneous sets, a setup that’s become increasingly common for one-off headline shows outside of festival season.
For Marshmello, this show represents a return to a market he hasn’t headlined solo in years, despite the Bay Area’s long-standing appetite for dance music. Since breaking out with tracks like ‘Alone’ and ‘Silence,’ he’s built one of the most recognizable brands in the genre, bouncing between festival main stages, pop collaborations, and his own Mellogang-branded tours. He remains a fixture at events like EDC Las Vegas and Ultra, but standalone headline dates of this scale have been less frequent in recent years, making this announcement notable for fans who’ve been waiting for him to come back through Northern California.
Armnhmr, the bass-leaning duo known for melodic tracks like ‘Save Me’ and their work within the mid-tempo and dubstep space, adds some weight to the support slate. CHYL and Grabbitz round out the announced lineup, with Grabbitz bringing his genre-blending mix of pop, rock, and electronic elements that’s made him a frequent collaborator across the bass music scene.
This event is being produced by Insomniac, the company behind EDC and a long list of touring brands, which has steadily expanded its footprint of one-off club and warehouse shows outside of its festival calendar. Landing Marshmello for a Halloween weekend date in San Francisco fits that pattern, giving Bay Area fans a festival-caliber lineup without leaving the city.
Tickets go on sale on the 27th of July if you register for the presale right here. General sale begins the day after.
