Gorgon City member Kye Gibbon is set to return to the stage at Tomorrowland just days after undergoing spinal surgery.
He shared an update on Instagram that revealed he underwent surgery to correct a long-standing neck issue. He had been avoiding the surgery for some time and admitted the idea of spinal surgery was daunting; however the surgery became unavoidable.
Following the operation, Gibbon thanked Dr. Kern Singh, Neil Patel, Lauren Ball, and the team at Rush Orthopaedics for their care throughout his recovery.
“I honestly can’t believe I’m back to work just a few days later, and pain-free… insane.”
During his recovery, Gibbon’s longtime Gorgon City partner Matt Robson-Scott continues performing the duo’s scheduled shows on his own.
“And of course, big up Matt for holding it down and covering the last few shows solo.”
The recovery has progressed quickly. Gibbon confirmed he is planning to rejoin Robson-Scott for Tomorrowland this Saturday, and looks excited to get back to the fans doing what he loves.
