Solomun brought Jamie xx back into the booth at Pacha Ibiza this past Sunday, July 12, for another edition of his Solomun +1 residency. It was Jamie xx’s first appearance at the residency since August 2024, and it landed at a point in the season where Solomun has been mixing longtime collaborators with newer names across his Sunday night series.

The two have kept busy together since their last go-round in the booth. Solomun put out two separate remixes of Jamie xx’s ‘Waited All Night,’ a standout from his In Waves LP, so there was already a musical thread running between them heading into Sunday’s show. That connection played out across the night, with Jamie opening, Solomun taking over from there, and the two eventually linking up for a closing back-to-back set.

Jamie xx’s opening set leaned into the loose, unhurried style he’s known for, working the room without rushing toward a peak. He pulled from his own catalog, including ‘Treat Each Other Right’ and ‘KILL DEM,’ along with ‘All You Children,’ his collaboration with The Avalanches, while weaving through UK garage, jungle, and house along the way.

By the time Jamie returned to close things out alongside Solomun, both had already carved out their own space in the night. That’s typically where a Solomun +1 b2b finds its footing — not in matching styles, but in the contrast between them. The two took things into their closing stretch with Nacho Penade’s remix of Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ ‘Lose Yourself to Dance,’ pushing the room to a final peak as the sun came up over Pacha.

What’s Next for Solomun +1

This Sunday, July 19, Peggy Gou steps into the booth for what’s shaping up to be one of the more anticipated +1 pairings of the summer. From there, the residency keeps rolling through October 4, with guests lined up including Anyma, Dixon, DJ Gigola, Max Styler, Barry Can’t Swim, and KETTAMA.

Solomun’s summer has been busy well beyond the residency. He recently released ‘Rumpta,’ a long-teased collaboration with Skrillex, which the pair premiered together during a Solomun +1 x Skrillex night in Ibiza earlier this month. As the founder of Diynamic Music — which marks its 20th anniversary this year — and the architect behind the Solomun +1 concept, he’s continued building out a platform centered on genre-blending sets and long-term artist development. His 2026 touring run has also included sold-out shows at Alexandra Palace in London, along with dates in New York, Munich, and Paris.

Tickets and details for upcoming Solomun +1 dates at Pacha Ibiza are available now through the residency’s official channels.
