In a heartfelt Instagram post Tom Marshall, known to dance music fans worldwide simply as Marsh has released a statement to his fans while announcing a new musical direction and record label. The longtime Anjunadeep DJ has shared that he has been feeling a shift in the music and how he wants to move forward as an artist.

The announcement comes on the heels of a massive couple of years for the British-born, North America-based artist, who has spent the last decade cementing his status as a fan favorite on Anjunadeep while selling out iconic venues like Printworks, Brooklyn Mirage, and Red Rocks. Marsh has captivated listeners by blending the nostalgic, emotionally rich trance sounds of the early 2000s with deep, soulful progressive house. The creation of Marshan Records signals a natural maturation of his artistry, allowing him full creative control over his releases and providing a platform to cultivate fresh electronic talent also starting a brand new ‘Marshan’ Instagram page.

“A New Chapter is beginning and I’m Really excited to bring you all with me”

While fans speculate what this could mean, his recent live sets have seen him drop some Drum & Bass and he has released progressive tracks like ‘Attraction’ with Ferry Corsten. Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the label’s first offering. Marsh confirmed that the imprint’s debut single, ‘Home’ is officially scheduled to drop on July 21st. You can now submit a form to Marsh as he wants to know what ‘home’ means to you.

Following the paths of label legends like Lane 8 (This Never Happened), Yotto (Odd One Out), and Spencer Brown (diviine), Marsh’s new venture represents a “graduation” rather than a total departure. He will still continue on his tour with the Anjunadeep Open Air this summer.
