The wait is officially over, and after two long years, ARTBAT has released ‘Take You There’. The Ukrainian powerhouse collaborated with SIX40TWO – also known as John Newman to create this melodic techno/house masterpiece. SIX40TWO pours his soul out in this song, conveying the emotion right before the build-up to the explosive release.

If you have seen ARTBAT headlining festivals like Tomorrowland or Ultra Miami, you would have heard this track take the crowd by storm. It’s rare for an unreleased “ID” to maintain the hype that “Take You There” has been able to keep for two full years, but its release feels like a timeless classic.

The track was released on The UPPERGROUND Imprint, ARTBAT’s record label, created in 2021. Since launching their record label and event brand UPPERGROUND, they have had more creative freedom and have used it to create music that internationally has taken off. Some of their recent songs also include Break The Loop – with Giuseppe Ottaviani & Conor Ross, Fight Machine – featuring NAIIM, Galaxy, and notably the 2025 festival anthems ‘Love Is Gonna Save Us’ with Benny Benassi, as well as ‘Culture’ with MORTEN.

SIX40TWO – John Newman has been a powerhouse pop/soul singer since the mid-2010s. He has been on another notable EDM song, Calvin Harris’s “Blame,” and has his own solo hit, “Love Me Again,” with over a billion streams. He created SIX40TWO to produce heavier, festival house, and melodic techno.
