A legendary celebration for a legendary label.
Rebirth Records is celebrating a major milestone in 2026 with the release of Rebirth 20, a special anniversary compilation marking two decades of the acclaimed Italian imprint. Founded and run by Brescia-based Daniele ‘Shield’ Contrini, the label has assembled an impressive roster of artists for this landmark release.
The project arrives a decade after Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers) curated an iconic compilation for the label, and follows last year’s celebrated Alfredo compilation ParaÃso: True Spirit of Ibiza. Rebirth 20 represents a dialogue between generations connected by a shared belief in timeless sound.
A limited-edition double vinyl has just gone out today May 15th, with digital releases which will follow in two parts during June and July, featuring new remixes of the label’s most iconic tracks alongside rare gems ready to shine again.
The compilation brings together an eclectic mix of established names and emerging talent. Alva Noto, Glenn Underground, Makèz, Luciano & Michel Cleis, Cromby, Terrence Parker, Martinou, DJ Babatr, RSS Disco, Liquid Liquid, John Ciafone, Red Axes, Silicone Soul, Cengiz, Nick Holder, and Einka are all featured, with more artists still to be announced. Many tracks are unreleased and exclusive to this collection.

Since its founding in 2006, Rebirth has grown from Contrini’s passion project into a global reference point for quality and authenticity in electronic music. The label has a strong track record of championing forward-thinking artists early in their careers, having nurtured talents like Blond:ish, Rampa, Danilo Plessow, Jimi Jules and Argy before they became household names.
The roster also includes releases from established visionaries such as Agoria, Luciano, Michel Cleis, Dave Lee, Butch, Chaim, Emanuel Satie, Marc Romboy, and Freaks (Luke Solomon & Justin Harris). Rebirth has also built a strong in-house family of exceptional talents including NUfrequency, Robytek, Chromatic Filters, Corrado Bucci, Blue Mondays and Gianluca Pegoiani.
