ZHU is continuing the rollout of his upcoming album BLACK MIDAS with the release of his latest single, ‘LEVELZZZ’, a club-driven collaboration with GCBestBelieve and HNTR, out now via Broke / BLACKLIZT Sound Syndicate.
Arriving just ahead of a busy festival run — including appearances at Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland —‘LEVELZZZ’ leans into ZHU’s late-night aesthetic, delivering a track built for after-hours energy and immersive dancefloor moments.
Described by ZHU as a record “for all my clubbers, ravers, and late-night creatures,” the track unfolds gradually, layering tension and rhythm into a steady, hypnotic build. The production blends his signature melodic depth with a darker, driving groove, reflecting the sonic direction shaping BLACK MIDAS.
The release also highlights a unique collaboration story. South African artist GCBestBelieve connected with ZHU after responding to an open call for music submissions via his BLACKLIZT platform. What began as a demo evolved into a full release, marking a breakout moment for the rising artist.
A New Chapter With BLACK MIDAS
Set for release on April 24, 2026, BLACK MIDAS. continues ZHU’s exploration of sound, atmosphere, and storytelling. The project draws inspiration from late-night experiences and global travels, blending elements of deep house and melodic techno across a series of collaborations with both emerging and established artists.
The album follows a year of heavy touring and creative expansion for ZHU, including sets alongside deadmau5, Mathame, and Paul Kalkbrenner, as well as performances across major venues and festivals worldwide.
With BLACK MIDAS, ZHU continues to evolve his BLACKLIZT concept — bridging underground club culture with large-scale festival production.
