John Summit announced the 3 winners of his remix competition for ‘LIGHTS GO OUT’. Dropping on Experts Only, DENNETT, G-POL, and Silvertone were named winners of the contest. Summit received thousands of incredible submissions, which he reviewed live on Twitch — drawing over 300k fans to watch.
DENNETT’s remix injects the perfect dubstep energy. Neck bangers alike will rejoice when this one drops. My favorite of the bunch comes from G-POL. He delivered a playful, club-ready house twist. He really ran with the vocals, distorting and altering them to fit a dark environment. Silvertone captures an unmistakable techno festival vibe with his. A rolling bass keeps the energy flowing throughout and 2 unique drops with acid synths will have your feet moving.
John just recently announced his highly anticipated new album CTRL ESCAPE. Set for release on April 15th on Experts Only / Darkroom Records, the album captures a story of transformation and reclaimed purpose.
Summit will close Ultra Music Festival’s mainstage before heading to back-to-back Experts Only ski weekenders in Vail and Whistler. Summit will also appear at Ultra South Africa, EDC Mexico, and Tomorrowland, before returning to New York City for the highly anticipated return of the Experts Only Festival following its sold-out 2025 debut
