With clarity and passion, Producer and DJ Craig Oram continues to move with intent – directing his focus into projects that nourish his creativity and drive him forward, whether in the community of listeners around him or in the evolution of his artistry.
Although based in the UK, there is a global range of influences informing Oram and his developing identity within Electronic Music. Inspired by experiences at festivals worldwide, including OZORA in Hungary and Origin Festival in Cape Town, he has cultivated a deep appreciation for the culture, community, and energy embedded within Electronic Music and its diverse range of substyles. From Indie Dance to Tech House to Melodic Techno to Psytrance, his musical explorations are a varied accumulation of his journey and the sounds that have made their mark.
Now, through his own productions, Oram aims to bring his vision to life. With the influence of psychedelia ingrained into his production process, his approach towards music creation has become instinctual, in tune with both the contemporary sounds of today’s scene while pushing into refreshing ideas and concepts. Sharply focused on the rhythmic structure of his music, he aims to encourage movement with his darker take on Dance Music, striving for soundscapes that feel funky in groove and heavy in low-end edge. Inquisitive and innovative, his process embraces experimentation –
shaping ideas, refining workflows, and evolving his creative expressions into music that feels authentically aligned with his project and the path he paves ahead.
Alongside a growing discography, Oram spends time behind the decks, using intuition and the crowd’s energy to craft in-the-moment sets that respond to the dancefloor. Delivering music that moves away from the mainstream and focuses instead on bringing music from global, rising talent, the mixes he curates are built with impact in mind – seeking to leave an impression on listeners through their balanced blend of unique tracks and danceable grooves.
With both dedication and an appreciation for a wide variety of sounds, Oram keeps his momentum moving, maintaining his sights on amplifying his signature sound within the world of Electronic Music, whether through DJing or his studio output.
Having cultivated a strong work ethic to match his creative mindset, Craig Oram appears on the precipice of a new chapter in his journey, ready to share new music and establish his position on the scene. So, be sure to keep up with him and follow along via social media to not miss the latest updates, releases, and news from this Producer and DJ.
