Project Glow weekend is upon us! Back for their 3rd edition in Washington DC at RFK Festival Grounds April 27th and 28th, the festival will feature three stages with over fifty artists taking over the weekend full of dance music. Headliners include ILLENIUM, Zedd, deep house maestro Lane 8, Swiss melodic house queen Nora en Pure and REZZ currently dominating the bass and techno space. Some surprising b2b combinations this year will be ACRAZE b2b Wax Motif, and Jerro b2b Marsh. Here are 5 sets you have to see this weekend! Please note that this is an editorial and thus the 5 sets picked were subject to personal preference.

Acraze B2B Wax Motif

Acraze and Wax Motif are two tech house giants in the scene right now, each known for blending hip hop and house beats with addictive basslines. This B2B is sure to be one to look out for.

Nostalgix

Born in Iran with roots in the Canadian dance music scene, Nostalgix is the epitome of a triple-threat in the industry. As a producer, writer, and rapper, Nostalgix incorporates spunky charm and a ’90s edge into her signature sound through thunderous basslines and electrifying beats. Nostalgix is also this year’s guest judge for the Project Glow Discovery Project.

Knock2

Taking the world by storm in the last couple of years, and selling out shows across North America, Knock2 content took over everyone’s feeds on every social media platform, with fans clamoring over the unique sets and performances, begging him to come to their city or local festival. Seamlessly able to dive between genres like trap, bass house, and dubstep, Knock2 is one the most in demand acts in the industry right now.

Illenium

Who could forget the holy father of sadboi music, Illenium. His meteoric rise to commercial success has been astounding to witness. A curator of some of the most cutting edge bass music events, Illenium has been a staple of the EDM community for more than a decade. 2023 saw the release of his self titled album and a slew of new collaborations and IDs in the start of 2024. He is sure to rinse these tracks this weekend.

REZZ

Dubbed space mom by her legions of fans. REZZ is a pioneer in sound design and the midtempo genre of music. Having also launched her own label, HypnoVizion, REZZ is poised to continue her domination in an industry and genre oversaturated with testosterone. Her continued success has shattered glass ceiling after glass ceiling for women producers as well as LGBTQ+ artists. This Project Glow set comes fresh off the heels of a new album release and two of her biggest showcases yet at Miami Music Week and in Phoenix, AZ.
