Prepare to be enveloped by the sonic metamorphosis of Kai Wachi’s highly anticipated Morphosia EP, finally unveiled to the world. This expansive project serves as the official debut of his ‘Cry Wachi‘ alias, previously hinted at during his massive tour announcement.
Released under the Kannibalen Records banner, Morphosia sprawls across 11 tracks, showcasing the multifaceted production skillset of Kai’s melodic prowess while retaining his signature bass-driven energy. The project boasts collaborations with some of dance music’s most captivating vocal talents, including Dia Frampton, RUNN, and SOUNDR, collectively pushing the boundaries of what an EP can encompass. From meticulously crafted songwriting to innovative sound design, Morphosia marks Kai’s most ambitious and accomplished work to date.
While every track on the EP shines brightly, a few stand out as undeniable highlights. The opening song, ‘After It All,’ featuring Concrete Castles, sets the tone for the genre-bending journey ahead. The monumental third track, ‘Buried Beneath You,’ is a powerful collaboration with YMIR, and the fan-favorite ‘When We Touch‘ showcases Kai’s ability to effortlessly navigate between musical styles.
The release of Morphosia coincides with the commencement of Kai’s Morphosia’ tour, where fans can witness the electrifying debut of his new stage design, aptly named “The Cage.” Joining Kai will be Space Wizard, Hairitage, NIMDA, Prosecute, Yosuf, with special guest appearances by Rusko and MUST DIE!
