Elephante & SABAI Drop Heartfelt Single ‘Say It Like You Mean It’ on Hidden Horizon Label

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Elephante, known for his genre-bending blend of melodic bass and future bass, joins forces with the fast-rising talent SABAI on a brand new collaboration. SABAI has been making waves in the melodic dubstep scene with his emotionally charged soundscapes that come as authentic and vulnerable as it can get. This isn’t their first foray into collaborative fire – their previous track, ‘Love Again,’ hinted at the undeniable chemistry between the two. Now, they’re set to ignite the dance floor once again with their latest collab, ‘Say It Like You Mean (feat. Olivia Ray)‘. The track also serves as the debut release for Hidden Horizon, a new label co-founded by the duo, set to redefine the electronic music landscape with innovative production and a focus on inclusivity.

‘Say It Like You Mean It’ isn’t a love song celebrating butterflies and fireworks. It’s a desperate plea for honesty in a relationship that’s lost its luster. The spark isn’t gone, but it’s fading under a layer of unspoken truths. The singer longs to hear genuine words, a heartfelt declaration that could reignite the flame before it’s too late. Sonically, Elephante and SABAI layer in percussive beats, future bass synths, and belting guitar riffs that seamlessly complements Olivia Ray’s heartfelt vocals.

Here’s what Elephante had to say about the track:

“It’s a song about the moment where you feel like a relationship is dying on the vine, but you know deep down there’s still a spark that you could recapture if you could find the right words. It’s my second collaboration with SABAI – I see a lot of myself in him, and it’s been such a privilege to see him grow as an artist and have him inspire me in turn.”

SABAI reflects on the collaboration, stating:

“I flew over to LA to spend a few days working on this song with Elephante, and I’m so glad we did it in person instead of doing it online. This is one of the fastest songs both of us have ever made. We finished it within 3 days, and I think it’s because our styles really complement each other. There is such a high level of trust and respect in each other’s craft. The experience was beautiful, and I’m so proud of this collaboration with Tim!”

To celebrate the release and launch of the label, Hidden Horizon will be hosting their launch party during Miami Music Week on March 20th at Freehold Studios. Besides the two performing at the event, Hoang, yetep, Win & Woo, and others will be joining the lineup. Tickets are still available here.
