Carl Cox took to Instagram to announce he will be skipping the upcoming Ultra Miami 2024 festival. However, he assures fans he has exciting things planned, including a headlining set at Ultra Music Festival 2025.
In his Instagram post, Cox explains his decision to prioritize other events around the world this year, despite enjoying his 19 performances at Ultra Miami over the past 22 years. This comes as no surprise, as Cox is known for his extensive global touring schedule.
Cox hasn’t forgotten his Ultra Miami fans, though. He promises a “special” headlining set for the festival’s 25th anniversary in 2025, making the wait worthwhile.
For those disappointed about Carl Cox skipping Ultra Miami 2024, the British house and techno DJ has announced several upcoming events:
- May 3rd, 2024: He will perform at Miami’s M2 nightclub for RESISTANCE Miami. This is during what has been called RACE WEEK over the past 2 years.
- April 13th, 2024: Australian fans can catch his first-ever performance at ULTRA Australia in Melbourne.
