Chicago, you have been blessed! Just a few months ago, it was announced that Insomniac, along with Auris Presents, so wonderfully announced they were bringing SoCal’s Beyond Wonderland music festival to the Midwest. The dates, June 1st & 2nd, are reserved at Northerly Island. right along the lake, for its own version of the festival along with the Alice in Wonderland theme. It’s been a while since Insomniac has dove into anything in the Midwest. EDC Chicago back in 2013 was an insane hit but met with many obstacles post-fest and was unable to return. Many people still talk about the event like it was yesterday and it is greatly missed. With that being said, more memories are ready to be made with Beyond Wonderland Chicago and all the artists set to play this spring.
Artists
There is a great array of artists here for many different genres. Drum & Bass has been highly requested in the city for many years. Thankfully Dimension, Kanine, Reaper are coming through to help soothe the craving. Additionally, Lost in Dreams will be hosting it’s own curated stage. Powerhouses Audien and Jason Ross will be doing a b2b, Kaivon, Nurko, Rossy, Pauline Herr, and hometown hero Xavi will be coming out. Jai Wolf is likely going to be closing out that stage. Additionally, we’ve got some more techno vibes with Lily Palmer, Patrick Topping, Hannah Wants, and Eli Brown. Favorite Chris Lorenzo is coming, too! Detroit’s DJ Minx is joining the fun too and hometown hero Kaskade.
Also, don’t worry dubstep and dubstep adjacent fans. There is plenty for you! LAYZ and Kayzo will be attending with Ray Volpe and Svdden Death. Apashe and NGHTMARE will come out to play too and there surely will be a decent crowd for Rezz as well.Riot
Lastly, Off The Trees with friend Maddy O’Neal and Daily Bread made their return. And, for the presumed headliners, they include Kaskade, Tiesto, Alesso, Diplo, and Benny Benassi! Wow, we cannot wait for set times to come out along with more information on the layout; we do know there will be four stages: Queen’s Domain, Mad Hatter’s Castle hosted by Bassrush, Cheshire Woods.
