New York Native DREAMDRIVER Releases Blistering Debut Album ‘NEO:CITY’ Part 1

Brandon Wong, also known as DREAMDRIVER is a New York native whose mission is to bring high energy four to floor sounds and upbeat energy to any crowd he plays to. If a fusion of blistering beats, high-energy melodies, and upbeat tempos is up your alley, his debut album NEO:CITY demands a listen.

Go fast and hard is one of DREAMDRIVER’s mottos, and that’s exactly how it feels like as he takes you on a ride through NEO:CITY. The 5 track album is the first glimpse into his signature upbeat four to the floor sound and this is just part 1. The lead single ‘NEO:CITY’ is a sonic exploration of sounds with a mix of dynamic percussion, thumping basslines, and propelling drops. The next track ‘Sugar Rush‘ is a 150bpm banger, and takes listener on a thrilling journey through nearly six different genres of drops, demonstrating a mastery of diverse musical styles within a single composition. Incorporating rock influences, ‘Falling‘ and ‘20XX‘ inject the synthesis of heavy riffs, catering to the preferences of both metal and bass enthusiasts. The synth heavy riffages add an unique and edgy dimension to the track, creating an electrifying fusion of sounds. ‘Heartbreaker‘ takes a different turn, blending speed house and bounce elements to form a club ready dance heater.

As a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer, DREAMDRIVER combines rock, K-pop, anime, and EDM influences to create a festival-style dance music experience. After playing his first live performance in 2021, it’s been an exhilarating few years as he navigates the edm scene. DREAMDRIVER has taken the stage at renowned venues like Yolo Nightclub in San Francisco, Big Night Live, Harbor NYC, Avant Gardner, Area 15, and Webster Hall. He’s shared the stage with notable EDM artists such as ILLENIUM, Alan Walker, JVNA, ARMNHMR, Hoang, Sabai, and Kill the Noise, even headlining his own shows in different states at venues like Melrose House in Los Angeles, CA, and NOTO in Philadelphia, PA. He most recently embarked on one of the largest anime tours in the U.S. which took him to major cities such as Seattle, Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston, and, more.

He currently holds a residency at one of the larger clubs in Manhattan, Mission NightClub NYC, which sees hundreds of attendees every weekend. His typical live performances are filled with his own remixes, anime remixes, productions, and edits. He is also not shy on the mic either with him singing some of his originals and ripping riffs on his electric guitar during live shows.
