Despite promises to debut an exclusive new track during their Roblox concert event, renowned DJ trio Swedish House Mafia has failed to fulfill their promise.
According to a discussion on Reddit, Swedish House Mafia did not deliver a new track during their Gameworld virtual performance. In fact, the group also leaned away from playing some of their iconic tracks, such as ‘Save The World‘ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child‘, making room for recent releases such as ‘Ray Of Solar‘ and ‘Heaven Takes You Home‘.Â
On December 1, powerhouse trio Swedish House Mafia took the virtual stage in the gaming metaverse platform, creating an interactive concert experience for fans all over the globe to party and dance to their music. Hosting Roblox events has recently become a new trend in the Dance music scene, as artists such as David Guetta have also taken over the gaming hub to perform for fans. Festival powerhouse Insomniac also debuted the first-ever music festival to take place on the online platform, bringing the world of EDC to the virtual universe.
Although the digital concert experience served as a great opportunity for SHM to create an immersive experience for fans to interact with their music beyond visuals, those same fans left the show with a bittersweet feeling.
