Here are our top picks for the best music we came across this week, in no particular order.

Depravity – PAIN!!

Genre: Drum & Bass

Kicking things off with a heavy-duty one. Depravity is one of Akuma Records’ finest, with beats that induce absolute madness. With a menacing sound, he presents his latest, ‘PAIN!!‘.

It is a fast-paced Drum & Bass track that includes elements borrowed from Dubstep, for that extra tinge of roughness. If you’re a fan of the Asphalt games or simply enjoy this heavy DnB style, press ‘Play’ below without a doubt.

Arcando feat. Livingston Crian – Mr. Brightside (The Killers Cover)

Genre: Drum & Bass

We’re digging this one! Ever wondered what The Killers’ iconic ‘Mr. Brightside‘ would sound like in Drum & Bass form? Look no further, we’ve got the answer for you. And it comes from producer and sample artist Arcando.

Powerful, dynamic, and absolutely dying to explode in energy and rhythm, this track brings all the best to the table, to ensure you can sing your by-heart lyrics, now under a new, refreshing gust of wind.

Silos, Orgy, Judge & Jury – Insatiable (BLVCK CROWZ Remix)

Genre: Drum & Bass

Hard Rock, Heavy Drum and Bass, powerful vocals… what else do you need to have the perfect festival-esque DnB? Oh, yes, electric guitars. All of this and more is present in this otherworldy track.

Electronic Rock band Silos recently teamed up with Rock group Orgy, and duo Judge & Jury to release ‘Insatiable‘. Not happy with that, today we’re sharing the amazing DnB take of BLVCK CROWZ. Enjoy.

Sammy Porter & Goody (UK) – Say Ooh

Genre: Tech House, Old-School House

Because we found more lovely tracks this week that step outside the DnB realm. Here’s the UK collaboration of the moment, Sammy Porter and Goody‘s club banger, ‘Say Ooh‘.

Reminiscing the 90s House vibe from the start, the track quickly shifts to a lemon-face-inducing Tech House beat. Enjoy the power of each kick, and the unmatched amount of groove present.

Bohm – Response

Genre: Breakbeat, Melodic Techno

Australian duo Bohm has been acing music lately. So much so, their latest release, Digital Awakening, is atop the Beatport Top 100 Indie Dance chart. One of the songs from there is this one, ‘Response

This track is our take on a Breakbeat track, but drawing on Melodic House and Indie Dance elements”, say the authors. And we agree. It’s a really melodic track reproduced over a broken beat that is tremendously catchy.

Home By Dawn & Kyree – Gimme That

Genre: Bass House

Rising producer Home By Dawn meets Kyree for quite the energetic song. Their latest conjoint effort is titled ‘Gimme That’, and it truly does the Speed House Movement label justice.

Filled with 2014-ish Electro elements for a break, the track swiftly builds from that quality over to a fast-paced, potent drop, which, let’s be honest, feels best with the speakers turned to their corresponding maximum.
