[Event Review] Disco Lines Brings All the Vibes to Sold Out NY Stop on GOOD GOOD TOUR

The past weekend Disco Lines took his GOOD GOOD TOUR to a sold out Knockdown Center in New York City. This was just one of 16 stops that Thadeus Labuszewski also known as Disco Lines embarked on with many more to come. Known for his iconic festival sets recently at Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, HARD Festival, and Outside Lands, this promising upstart has immense potential to become a major headliner within the industry with his infectious beats and groovy rhythms.

Joining Disco Lines on support that night was Kaleena Zanders who took the stage at 12am. After warming up the crowd with her house beats, Disco Lines took the stage at 130am with roars of cheers from the venue. The venue space at Knockdown Center is very much industrial and gives off a dark warehouse vibe which can make the shows that much more intimate. From start to finish, he skillfully navigated the decks, seamlessly transitioning from one iconic track to the next, boosting the crowd energy with every drop. His viral hit ‘Baby Girl’ which now has over 140 million streams on Spotify is for sure a crowd pleaser after hearing it for the first time. Thadeus also dished out some serious heat in his arsenal of remixes. His ‘Gaslight’ remix was nothing short but hypnotic and the remix he played for Hozier’s ‘Take Me to Church’ got the crowd singing in unison as a rush of nostalgia trickled down our bodies. Other highlights of the night for myself included when he played ‘RWEOK?’ and also ‘Another Chance’ as the tracks got everyone into a happy dance like frenzy.
