One of today’s hottest Techno acts released his highly anticipated album Heaven Is Mad (For You). Dutch DJ and producer Reinier Zonneveld debuted his fourth studio album today via his own Filth on Acid imprint. This is quite the promising project for Zonneveld’s career and a statement for the Electronic Music community.
The album is a compilation of Reinier’s creative approach towards modern Techno. Always pushing boundaries, the artist claims Heaven Is Mad (For You) is his biggest artistic development thus far. Each listener will dive into a diverse journey of the genre, which heavily reflects on Zonneveld’s live performances and their popularity. After all, each song was born out of his live sets and his worldwide success.
‘Music Is The Answer‘ is the lead single from the project, and it made sure to destroy dance floors all over the world this summer. Zonneveld’s eclectic style and spontaneity are consistent throughout the entire album, allowing you to enjoy the chaos within his creations. His long-lasting live performances provided rich materials for the development of his sonic landscapes.
Reinier Zonneveld comments about the release, saying: “The philosophy behind the album’s tracks is that they should be nice for home listening, as well as if you’re on-the-go or in the crowd at a club or festival“. He adds, “The tracks are a blend of melodic music and energetic techno, with the themes, production, and sound design being on a whole next level compared to my previous albums”.

2023 has been a phenomenal year for Reinier Zonneveld. In addition to releasing a highly anticipated album, he hosted his very own music festival, Karren Maar, in the Netherlands, where he set a Guinness World Record for the longest live electronic music set, clocking in at an astonishing 11 hours and 11 minutes!

He has even more in the remainder of 2023. On Sunday, October 22, he will be hosting an epic event with Awakenings during ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) at the prestigious Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Zonneveld will play all-day back-to-back sets with renowned artists Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, and Kiki Solvej.
Furthermore, a museum exhibition dedicated to Zonneveld’s life and work will be hosted at Our House in Amsterdam. This exhibition will showcase his impact on the electronic music world through his innovative music, groundbreaking performances, and dedication to his craft.
