South Florida‘s vibrant electronic dance music scene is on the cusp of a major transformation, thanks to the imminent arrival of Kemistry Nightclub. This exciting venture is the brainchild of three nightlife industry luminaries and is set to make its debut in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale’s Himmarshee Village. The grand opening of Kemistry Nightclub is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, and will coincide with the eagerly anticipated Halloween on 2nd! Downtown Block Party.
This extraordinary event, running from 6 p.m. to midnight, will feature a dynamic stage set up right in front of the colossal venue, which emerged from a humble gravel parking lot in 2018. In addition to the main stage, two other stages will be part of the festivities. The Kemistry stage is poised to offer a spectacular lineup that includes:

- Morse X Code
- Merlyn vs Supernaut vs JimiTheGenius vs. Si-Dog
- United D&B featuring Danny Bled with MC Disedente and MC Jumanji
- Bonkers back to back with MrOneVibe
- Keith Christopher back to back with Ollie Sanders
Kemistry is situated at 301 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale, occupying the premises formerly known as #00 Saloon, which had a brief existence, and subsequently, the even more short-lived Shato Asian Tapas & Sushi Lounge.
The driving force behind this exciting new club consists of three notable individuals: Angel Candelaria, who previously owned the well-regarded Cash Only nightclub; Danny Colica, a pioneering figure in South Florida’s vibrant rave scene and the visionary founder of Hypnotic Productions; and Pepe Vargas, a prominent figure in nightlife hosting and the mastermind behind the Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival.
When asked about the sound of the club, Candelaria said
“Right off the bat, the first thing they’re gonna do is feel bass”
Colica added “In our world and electronic music, at every venue that I’ve been going to lately, the production has been subpar. … I want to be immersed in the music. I want to feel the music. I want that bass to hit me in the chest. I want to feel like in the Carl Cox Arena at Ultra Music Festival. And that’s what we’re curating here. “
