[EVENT REVIEW] Las Vegas Art Of The Wild VIII Brightened The Desert

Las Vegas keeps on giving. The city has very quickly become an epicenter of amazing events that honor EDM and technology. One of its biggest achievements this year is Art of the Wild. The VIII edition of Art of the Wild took place at XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club at the Encore by Wynn. This event is an impeccable collaboration by Los Angeles-based Framework, and Wynn Nightlife. The party was a three-day bender from October 6th to 8th, in which attendees enjoyed amazing underground House and Techno acts day and night.

The Location

The Encore is one of the most deluxe hotels on the Strip. It also offers a wide array of entertainment and amenities that will make you not want to leave. Top-notch restaurants, beautiful artistic decoration and design, an enormous casino, one of the best-updated shows in Vegas — Awakenings —, and of course, the Art of the Wild experience. During the day, you would enjoy the great early fall weather in the desert, fresh breeze and sunny days rocked the weekend. Each day, Encore Beach Club assembled different production layouts that made it seem like you were in different tropical locations each day. My favorite theme was Ants on Saturday. The beach club turned into a giant colony and we were all stunning dancing ants.

As the sun came down, ravers made their way into XS Nightclub. A decadent and luxurious nightclub with golden details and figures. The environment provided goers with the experience of a music festival within a great nightclub. The indoor area mirrored an expansive patio with a pool. The DJ stage is right in the middle, allowing a full round-up experience. Although the dancefloor was a little small inside, people were dancing all on top of the VIP tables. The energy was surreal and the layout supplied great vision of the stage.

Highlights

There is so much to talk about, since the lineup was disgustingly good. We heard some of the best Tech House, Afro House and Melodic Techno here. Top sets include Cassian, RÃœFÃœS DU SOL, Mochakk, and Blond:Ish, while the best set goes to DJ Fergie. The Vegas resident shined through the morning with beautiful melodies and tropical beats.

It was ideal to have the event happen in such a nice hotel, reentry was convenient throughout the day. Moreover, security and bathroom attendants were spot on. The vibe was delightful and sublime as well, it did not feel like a tourist trap nightclub. Instead, there was a sense of community like you feel at other dance events. It felt like a little bit of Tulum or Ibiza made its way to Vegas to add a little magic to the weekend.

Afterthoughts

For a three-day festival ticket that started at $100, you definitely get your money’s worth. Besides you are able to fully party and rest in one of the best hotels in Vegas. Furthermore, the music selection was next level and each DJ played a set that was very unique to their style but also crafted for the event. Framework and Wynn Nightlife really understood the assignment by mixing the underground and the lush life.
