Dom Dolla To Feature In BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix

Australian House music producer Dom Dolla is set to make his Essential Mix debut. Dom (real name Dominic Matheson) has introduced himself in the world of House music with the hits ‘Take It’ and ‘San Francisco’. The latter went on to give him an ARIA Award for Best Dance Release. It was only a matter of time before the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix came calling.

Dominic (Dom) was named by Pete Tong as one of the emerging stars 4 years ago in 2019. Billboard Dance also previously labelled him as their ‘one to watch’. Testimony to his emergence is a mind-boggling 300 million+ streams across his releases to date. His official career spans across official releases of an impressive roster of artists and superstars. These include the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Purple Disco Machine, PNAU, MK, Sonny Fodera, Hayden James and Dua Lipa.

His meteoric rise was rewarded with appearances at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas and many more. A staggering 125 shows worldwide in 12 months before COVID is notable. A debut on Essential Mix is deserved.
