Ben Böhmer Releases Brand New Single ‘One Last Call’

Ben Böhmer embarks on a new journey with the label Ninja Tune with his fresh release One Last Call. Out now on all platforms, this single is the first release two years after his sophomore album Begin Again. A tune long awaited as Böhmer teased it over the past year, at shows including Awakenings, Glastonbury, Forbidden Fruit, Lightning in a Bottle and many more.

One Last Call

One Last Call‘ features the yearning voice of Felix Raphael, becoming the second collaboration between the two artists after ‘Running Away‘. The keys at the beginning of ‘One Last Call‘ gives way immediately to Felix‘s delicate vocals. The drifting, emotive melody is typical of Böhmer with a strong bassline and a catchy tune that is stuck in my head. It is not your typical love song, but more geared towards how we face challenges that life throws our way. The lyrics highlight this theme and Felix’s tone establishes it. Böhmer first draft of the instrumental sent to Felix sparked immediate excitement and energy. The duo have worked tirelessly to create this masterpiece over the last year and a half.

Ben has released two successful albums in the last five years through Anjuna. The release of ‘One Last Call‘ with Ninja Tune marks a fresh new chapter for this brilliant artist. Begin Again turned into a live show concept that Ben has been touring the last few years through all the major cities in the world. The critically acclaimed album written reflected his difficult time away from his wife during the global pandemic. That along with his Cercle set, in a hot air balloon above Cappadocia, Turkey was the turning point in this mastero’s life.

The last few months Böhmer premiered his ‘Portraet Presents’ series in North America. This darker, more club focused side of Ben has been a huge success numerous sold-out events especially at iconic venues such as The Shrine Expo Hall and Brooklyn Mirage to name a few.
