On Friday, September 8, NGHTMRE released his single ‘On My Mind’ featuring Lizzy Land via Lowly.
NGHTMRE is no newcomer when it comes to exploring the realm of House music, and his latest single, ‘On My Mind,’ marks his return to this genre after a considerable break. The track is beautifully enhanced by the ethereal vocals of Lizzy Land, a well-known figure in the dance music scene who has previously lent her talent to artists like Alesso, Le Youth, Jerro, San Holo, and many others.
This song is part of NGHTMRE’s forthcoming DRMVRSE Deluxe album, where fans can also anticipate a VIP mix crafted by Staysick and NGHTMRE himself. NGHTMRE is currently riding the wave of success following the release of his debut EP GIGANTIC NGHTMRE in collaboration with Big Gigantic, as well as his exhilarating joint project with Knock2, ‘One Chance,’ featuring Marlhy.
Lizzy Land talked about the single and the process of creating it: “‘On My Mind’ was written about craving the memory of someone you let go so badly, that you don’t feel like yourself without it. Ty and I had been sending each other ideas remotely back and forth”. She adds, “we started a few different vibes before he sent me a chord progression that I instantly heard a melody for. The idea was gibberish until deciding on what sort of mood the track put me in.“
