The MSG Sphere just announced the addition of five of the most advanced robots in the world to its roster. The robots known as “Aura” will reside inside the atrium of the Sphere to greet guests and answer questions. We can only hope they look something like the robots we’ve seen from Anyma.

According to David Dibble, CEO of MSG Ventures, the robots will use A.I. to interact with patrons and learn in the process.Human Lab technicians will assess the learning process of the robots. We can’t help to be fascinated by the amount of detail the company has put into the venue to make it one of the most impressive and futuristic projects in this era of technology.
The humanoids will share show information, directions within the Sphere, and answer questions about the company’s mission. Additionally, the robots will work as brand ambassadors for Sphere Entertainment and help manage social media. Even though the outer display of the venue just started this summer, the anticipation for it the inaugural shows is leaving everyone breathless.
The Sphere will debut its first show this September 29th with U2. The band will have a 25-show residence called “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live”, in celebration of their 1991 album “Achtung Baby”. The MSG Sphere will premiere its immersive experience titled “Postcard From Earth” October 6th. The show will utilize the 160,000 square foot display. And it will convey the technological capabilities of the Sphere for a multi sensory journey. The director Darren Aronofsky was in charge of creating this amazing project.
