Gärten Festival Delivers a Beautiful 2023 Edition

Gärten Festival was back for its second edition this September at the mesmerizing castle of Chantilly only 50km away from Paris, and we were there to cover it.

8000 people took over the amazing French monument to enjoy one of the last summer festivals in France but also one of the most beautiful ones. The festival took place on Friday, September 8 between 8 pm and 3 am. The Chantilly castle was as beautiful as ever, the temperature and weather were perfect, so we were on for a ride.

Festival goers enjoyed two stages this year with some of the biggest names in the melodic techno scene, along with some handpicked international and local acts. One of our favorite acts of the festival was rising talent Notre Dame who delivered an amazing set while the night started to unfold. Afterward, it was Agents of Time who took over the stage with a live performance and their unique transcending craft. Last but not least, we had the one and only, and our highlight of the night, Stephan Bodzin who closed the event with a 2 hours live set, giving the fans the beautiful experience they came for with mesmerizing surroundings and music.

Unfortunately, however, this year we had a bigger stage with a LED screen in a new area, but that came instead of the stage being just in front of the castle where you could fully enjoy the show and have the amazing castle in sight.

A promising newcomer

France has a long love story with magnificent scenery, historical monuments, beautiful castles, and amazing nature. Lately, the electronic music scene went-on and combined what it does best with these amazing spots for a fusion of both worlds and senses. The best example of these combinations is the French Cercle, but we can’t forget some major events such as the Afterlife takeover of the Theatre Antique d’OrangePositiv Festival in the same venue, and also the Cercle festivals at Le Bourget Airport and Chambord Castle.

Today, we definitely have a new player in the scene and that will definitely grow bigger every year. So if you feel like listening to some top-notch artists at one of the finest jewels in the crown of France’s cultural heritage, then this is the event for you.

The festival is already working on the 2024 edition and promises new surprises with unique artists and bigger scenery. We can’t wait to see that happening.
