Armin van Buuren’s five-hour set from UNTOLD Festival is out now via YouTube. The Untold Festival of Romania unfolded another chapter last weekend in the charming city of Cluj. The open-air Arena hosted international superstar electronic headliners from dusk until dawn. The soul of the festival lives in Central Park, with a shady expanse of trees, grass filled with hammocks, small stages, and art.
Hour 1
Firstly, Armin starts off with a 2023 remix of his ‘This Is What It Feels Like‘, of course, as a throwback epic introduction. He follows with ‘Your Love Is A Drug’, ‘Motive (7 Skies Remix)’, ‘In and Out of Love (Innellea Remix)’, and ‘Welcome to the Opera’ by Grimes and Anyma. What’s more, the massive stage strobes as he plays each track. Additionally, fans dance along and enjoy every moment of the set. He mixes songs from Armada, Anjunabeats, Future Rave, and plays crowd favorites like ‘Turn On The Lights Again’ by Fred again… and SHM, a ‘Makeba‘ remix, and various others.
Hour 2-3
After one hour in, he brought out Sam Martin to sing on stage. His presence signals the beginning of hour two and the crowd sings along. In the second hour, Armin turns up the trance. He features tracks from Andrew Rayel, an ‘It’s Ours vs. God Is A DJ’ mashup, several IDs, Guiseppe Ottaviani, Ilan Bluestone, Rank 1, Richard Duran, and more. Twenty minutes into the two-hour mark, he brings on Noa Zulu on stage and the psy trance kicks in. The momentum continues to build for this marathon of a set. You hear tracks from Gareth Emery, Ben Nicky, Jorn van Deynhoven with ‘Lost In Space‘, Orjan Nilsen, Gaia, Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella, and more.
Almost There!
Heading into the fourth hour, Sam Martin returns on stage. The best track that Armin played was ‘RAMsterdam (Jorn van Deynhoven Remix)‘, which he actually played at UNTOLD back in 2017. In this hour, Armin turns the party rocking up higher with tracks from Hardwell, Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, Peggy Gou, Mark Sherry, and more. He ends his set with a Dream ID and the sun up. With so many artists and only so many hours to dance, everyone lives to see another day.
