Ray Volpe Unleashes Heavy Hitting ‘VOLPETRON ASCENDS’ EP

Bass maestro Ray Volpe has dropped his highly anticipated project, ‘VOLPETRON ASCENDS,’ marking his debut EP on Monstercat. This five-track release showcases Volpe’s signature sound spanning dubstep, melodic bass, and bass house, solidifying his status as a true bass music staple.

The EP includes well-received festival hits like the chant-worthy anthem ‘HAPPY SONG’ and the high-energy ‘EAT SLEEP RAGE.’ Alongside these, are three other noteworthy tracks. ‘ASCENSION’ kicks off the collection with brooding undertones that explode into Ray’s characteristic blend of bubbly yet gritty bass stabs, delivering a genre-blurring experience. ‘IT ISN’T ME’ features RUNN’s shimmering vocals that dive into emotions associated with heartbreak, making it a certified melodic banger. Meanwhile, ‘DROP EM’ reveals a new facet of Ray’s bass soundscapes, combining bouncy house elements, hybrid trap stylings, and deep growling basslines.

Speaking about the EP, Ray Volpe shares, “This project holds immense meaning for me. Following a year of explosive growth, I faced considerable pressure to maintain momentum. Though I hit a creative roadblock, I persevered and crafted a collection that represents some of my best work to date. It’s an incredibly exciting and creatively fulfilling feeling.”
