After closing out the Solar Tent on day 2 of Moonrise Festival, Kaskade made his way on over to the renowned Power Plant Live! venue in Downtown Baltimore, for the official after party.
I was able to catch Kaskade’s Redux set at Moonrise so I was coming straight after hearing his magical deep house sounds and was not sure what to expect him to play over at the after party. This was my first time attending the venue at Power Plant Live! and I was in for a surprise. It was enclosed with a roof but the main entrance was out in the open. The venue was also very colorful and it felt like I was walking into a mall. When I arrived at the venue, Kaskade was already bumping his tunes and the sound system was blasting out all throughout the venue. The bass was tremendous and I could see why this is such a special venue in the city of Baltimore.
I’ve been to many Kaskade afterparties before after festivals but I could say this was one for the books. Besides dropping a lot of his fan favorites, he really brought out the energy with some hard hitting techno and thunderous beats. The crowd was singing along in unison and fist bumping and jumping to all of his explosive transitions.
