World-renowned EDM artist deadmau5 has announced his annual “Day of the deadmau5” tour for 2023. The tour will feature six shows across four cities, including San Francisco, Chicago, Mexico City and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The tour will kick off on October 21 at The Midway Blockparty in San Francisco. deadmau5 will then perform two nights at Radius in Chicago on October 27 and 28. The tour will continue to Mexico City on October 31 for a show at the Pepsi Center before wrapping with two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on November 3 and 4.
Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, June 16 at 10am local time.
No two shows on the tour will be the same. deadmau5 will perform a unique set at each show, featuring a mix of his classic hits and new material. He will also be joined by a different lineup of special guests at each show. Fans are also encouraged to come in costume and show off their own custom mau5heads.
In addition to the live shows, deadmau5 will also be hosting a pop-up shop at each tour stop. The pop-up shop will feature exclusive merchandise, including apparel, accessories and collectibles. No ticket will be required for entry to the mau5shop pop-up shop.
Joel Zimmerman, better known by his stage name deadmau5, is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and record label owner. He is known for his signature mouse head helmet, which he wears during live performances. deadmau5 has won numerous awards, including seven Juno Awards, a Grammy Award nomination and a Billboard Music Award. He has also been ranked as one of the top electronic music artists in the world by several publications.
deadmau5’s music has been described as a mix of electronica, techno and house. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Kaskade, The Neptunes, Kiesza and Wolfgang Gartner. His live shows are known for their elaborate production values and visuals.
In addition to his music career, deadmau5 is also a co-founder of the gaming venture Pixelynx and is an executive of the HD streaming platform StreamVoodoo.
