Two of the most talented rising stars of the indie electronic music world, OLAN & QRTR follow up their previous collaboration ‘All U Need’ with the brand new Foreign Family Collective single, ‘Control’. Built around a sizzling and driving techno beat, a droning vocal emerges, repeatedly belting out the word ‘Control’ as the intensity builds to a fever pitch. This is pure peak-time magic with an irresistible groove.
“‘Control’ is about a very fundamental human nature, levels of sexual tension. We’re playing off of tension and release. We just went back and forth and this track came together quickly. I wanted to test it during my set at ABGT 500 back in October so we mixed it in my hotel that morning and not that much has changed since then”, OLAN says.
Beyond this music collaboration, OLAN & QRTR are also set to join ODESZA on the acclaimed electronic music duo’s summer/fall North American tour. Moreover, OLAN & QRTR are working on a very special live show that should not be missed. Clearly, the two love working together.
