Insomniac Donates $200,000 In Plants and Trees After EDC

EDC might be over, but the PLUR continues in Las Vegas. Parent company Insomniac events has reportedly donated about $200,000 in plants and trees that were at the festival to Clark County. According to Clark County’s twitter post, many of the plants and trees will go toward Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick’s district. The effort helps in fighting urban heat island impacts in the northeast Las Vegas valley.

EDC Las Vegas is an annual electronic dance music festival held in Las Vegas, Nevadaand runs from dusk until dawn. Produced by Insomniac Events, it has become one of the largest dance music festivals in the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees from all over the globe and a lineup of some of the biggest names in the electronic dance industry.
