World’s “Most Remote” Nightclub, On Its Way To Scotland

Get ready for a unique escape and a fun time on Scottish lands.

Have you heard about the Isle of Coll? That’s the point. Detour Discotheque, the organisers of their so-called “most remote” nightclub around, have a way of locking in events in remote places to host very special parties. They define themselves as “a pop-up nightclub bringing peace, love and mirror balls to remote and beautiful locations around the world“.

This year, they are hosting a two-day gig in Coll, a tiny island in West Scotland, and part of the Inner Hebrides of said country. The event, to be held this September, will take place in this little island, which is home to around 200 people. They expect to have 250 people dancing in their “truly cosmic disco under the Milky Way“, so they would, in theory, be filling the island with an extra Coll Island’s worth of attendees. Quite cool.

Part of the lineup has been revealed and will include Free Love (live), Coll Cosmic Ceilidth Band, and Auntie Flo. Read more about the event by clicking here. There’s tons to learn about the project, such as Accomodation, Activities, and Sustainability.

Would you like to go? Nice, head this way for your ticket to what will certainly be a one-of-a-kind experience. Also, be sure to follow Detour on Instagram to keep yourself updated.
