Yotto’s Album Growth Out Now

It’s been a silent release for Yotto’s album Growth, his first ever album on his Odd One Out label. Fans have been pumped for the Growth tour since his funny announcement on social media “New album. New Album Tour. New Single. Same Idiot”.

Otto rose to success through the Anjunadeep label in 2015 and released his debut album Hyperfall in 2018.  We have seen a lot of the Finnish producer in the last six months. Yotto released Erased Dreams in July of 2022 through REFLECTIONS by Anjuna, its independent label being a new home of ambient, chillout, and downtempo music. His tour starts tomorrow in Boston with the perfectly timed release of Growth.

Erased Dreams is the first full-length, low-tempo project and reveals a different side of the Finnish deep house star. When covid hit, his inner world took over and it was the journey that was real but erased, maybe a dream or maybe a destination. The music reflected Yotto’s personality, his shy, relaxed, introverted side.

Growth

Fast forward six months, and we hear Growth a day before his tour commences. The album has thirteen songs that showcase a rounded Otto. Growth has songs featuring MØØNE, Sana, Lost Boy, Julia Church, Booka Shade, SØNIN and Auna.

‘Let You Go’ was the final single that released mid-January featuring SØNIN and Auna featuring the classic deep side of Yotto. He began the new year with ‘Just over’ his third single of the album, a 6-word love song. 2022 – Yotto lit the dance floor on fire with his ‘Rhythm of the night’ remix. Earlier in the year he released the first two singles of the album ‘Hollow’ and his collaboration with Booka Shade ‘Encounters’.

This odd man definitely picks the weirdest titles for his song and it speaks to us. We see his peculiar side through tracks ‘Would you like fries with that?’ or ‘Rimini Trance Energy’. The latter alludes to his post where we see his reference to deep trance. This song is all energy with the typical Yotto beat and builds up, it is a perfect end to the album.

We can’t wait to catch Yotto on his Growth tour, check out his dates here. Listen to Growth below.
