Movement Festival Brings Basement Jaxx, Charlotte de Witte, Underworld, and More to Detroit

Movement Festival announced the full lineup for this year’s event. It features over 115 acts, including a headlining set from legendary UK dance duo Basement Jaxx (DJ Set). They’re joined by Underworld and Charlotte de Witte. What’s more, Skrillex is slated to perform as well, making a huge 2023 comeback! In addition, you’ll find so many artists to see, the conflicts may require some planning. Who is ready to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in the best way possible? Movement takes place May 27-29 at Hart Plaza, Detroit. Chicago is seeing some surefire events this season.

Check out Cybotron (live), Bonobo (DJ Set), Three 6 Mafia, and Carl Craig ft. Jon Dixon (live) for some hip hop and techno. Kaskade is playing under his underground alias Kaskade Redux. Drumcode recording artist Ida Engberg is there. Paul Woolford is performing under his coveted alias Special Request. Don’t forget Stephan Bodzin (live), Zeds Dead performing as Zeds Dead (Altered States) and so many others.

Lastly, Detroit favorite Moodymann returns alongside Caribou, DJ Seinfeld, Masters At Work, Robert Hood (live), Green Velvet, DJ Minx, Dom Dolla b2b John Summit. House, techno, underground, hip hop, Chicago. From mainstays to first-timers, seasone vets and future generations of electronic music, this is a stacked lineup sure to slay.
