After releasing a huge cover called ‘Heartbreak Anthem’ last year, Galantis and David Guetta are now back with a brand new collaboration and this time they’ve added MNEK as well. The track is called ‘Damn (You’ve Got Me Saying)’ and it’s another very catchy tune featuring various different instrumental elements.
The Frenchman, David Guetta, has been in the studios non-stop this year and have released so many hit tracks including his rework of Benny Benassi’s iconic ‘Satisfaction’. Before the year is up, he surprises us with another incredible track with Galantis. Galantis of course is behind some of the catchiest tunes in dance music with their classics including ‘Runaway (U & I)’ and ‘You’ to just name a few. When speaking on their latest collaboration together, Christian Karllson of Galantis stated the following:
“After ‘Heartbreak Anthem,’ David Guetta and I wanted to team up again for something more house driven. ‘Damn (You’ve Got Me Saying)’ was the perfect storm, it gave us the opportunity to fuse that 2023 sound with early 2000s R&B. MNEK is one of my favorite artists and songwriters, and this record finally felt like the right opportunity to collaborate. His initial ideas for the song struck a chord for me instantly, I’m so excited for the world to hear this blend we’ve created.”
