ASOT 1000 Poland To be Ukraine fundraising show

ASOT 1000

While it seems that we are overcoming many obstacles from previous years as the pandemic, another problem arises from the western side of Europe. After a series of failed negotiations and a year-old conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the first country attacked the second a couple of weeks ago. Since then, many electronic music events and artists have made many efforts recently to support the Ukrainian community and recently ASOT has decided to lend a hand to the cause. Together with ALDA, ASOT has announced a plan to help at their upcoming ASOT 1000 Kraków event.

The upcoming edition of ASOT 1000 in this country will use ticket proceeds and an online charity portal to aid the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. They decided it after a moment of uncertainty before the cancellation of several more events due to the conflict. All the money raised will go to the Red Cross of Poland, who are being a great support for all the injured people of Ukraine who arrive in the country.

Armin van Buuren:

I am devastated to learn of the horrific events currently unfolding in Ukraine. With our upcoming ASOT1000 show in Poland, we wanted to do all we could to help those affected by the conflict. We have therefore decided to focus on raising money together with the people of Kraków, on 12 March. Proceeds and donations from the event will go straight to the Polish Red Cross, so that refugees can continue to get the essential aid they need. I hope the trance community can come together and #danceforukraine”

This Thursday also we will see a special A State Of Trance episode dedicated to the cause and for the event. There will be a nine-hour Livestream where you can catch artists like Ferry Corsten, Ilan Bluestone, Ruben de Ronde, and Armin van Buuren himself. Also, people from several countries can contribute in an online donation portal which you can view here.
