After Two Years, ODESZA Finally Returns with ‘The Last Goodbye’

Tensions were high this week among ODESZA fans as the duo mysteriously launched their ‘Welcome to the Last Goodbye‘ campaign. It started with the quiet rollout of a new microsite and subscription link, followed by a reversed audio clip, leaving fans wondering “is this the end of ODESZA?”

Today, we have another update for you and this one comes in the form of brand new music! I present to you ‘The Last Goodbye’ ft. Bettye LaVette.

‘The Last Goodbye’ is a worthy follow-up to a two-year hiatus. Featuring the original 1965 vocals from Bettye LaVette’s ‘Let Me Down Easy,‘ the modernized track consists of funky bass lines, airy synths, and that signature ODESZA sound.

It’s been two years since ODESZA’s last release under their BRONSON moniker with Golden Features and five years since the release of their critically acclaimed album, A Moment Part. Fans are elated at the news of brand new music from the Seattle-based duo and of course relieved to learn this isn’t the end of ODESZA.
