Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac, took to social media today with some EDC Las Vegas updates. The world wants to know – is EDC still happening this May?
So far, yes. In the tweet, he confirmed that “nothing has changed”. And if something does change, backup dates are ready and refunds will be available. While this is a partial update, a full update is “coming soon”, according to Rotella.
Now, obviously they’re going to say it’s moving ahead as scheduled right up until the minute they announce it’s not – but things seem to be moving quickly in the events space. With Florida and Texas leading the pack, there must be a hope that Nevada can follow.

Many events slated for 2021 continue to be pushed back or canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and various state and country restrictions. EDC Las Vegas is one of the most highly anticipated EDM events of the year, and many ticket holders have been patiently waiting for an event update to coordinate their travel plans.
