Doing it their way, Steve Aoki and Aloe Blacc work together for their recent single out on Ultra Music. The song titled ‘My Way’ is about feeling confident in the face of adversity. The duo tells us not to give up on our dreams – even if the road ahead may appear challenging. Aloe Blacc brings his spirited vocals to Aoki’s charming melodies and danceable rhythms. Steve Aoki said this on the collaboration:
“He has an incredible voice and it’s been awesome getting to work with him and blending my signature sound with his.”
Earlier in December Aloe Blacc was featured in Anti-Defamation League’s Concert Against Hate. His has been a strong voice in advocating for peace and reconciliation as well as standing up against police brutality. He was one of many artists who signed an open letter to US Congress following the murder of George Floyd. You can read it here. We only have two more days in 2020.
