Playstation 5 Design and Specs Are Here!

Playstation 5 just landed, we repeat, Sony’s next-gen console is here. The live event today started at 1 pm PST and revealed a lot of details about the console plus its games.

Here Are Some Details

Firstly, the PS5 console consists of a black-and-white design, matching its new controller. Secondly, it stands like the Xbox Series X and also includes two versions: 4K Blu-ray drive and a pure Digital Edition. Thirdly, there is no optical drive for a thinner look. No details to pricing or firm release date have been revealed.

Place it horizontally or vertically underneath your TV, it doesn’t matter. Its vents are built for heat dissipation, with USB-A and USB-C ports in front. Accessories include a DualSense charging station, new HD camera, Pulse 3D wireless headset, and a media remote. In addition, the controller looks similar to the Xbox one as well. Thoughts on that?

Most likely, the console will release this holiday season, just in time for gift buying. Powered by an 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and custom AMD RDNA 2-based GPU, this could be the ultimate gaming machine. Moreover, all games will be installed to the internal SSD to make use of the read speeds. The SSD provides 825 GB of storage and 5.5GB/s of performance.
