The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally come. Zeds Dead and Rezz released their collaborated track titled ‘Into The Abyss‘. It’s brilliant, combines the stylings of both amazing artists, and is accompanied by an emotional video. We see its release on their Deadbeats label.
It starts off with Rezz’s eerie intro sound, reverberating a deep-sea diving tune with the theme in its name. As the song progresses, enter the bass! Bass heads unite as you bob your heads and sway your bodies to this. Not many words are spoken, and the music is everything. Fans have expressed that this is a song to hear at an event. Blasting it in your headphones may not do it justice. The synths slam us to the ground as these industry heavyweights massage us with their vibrations and soulful melody. The Toronto duo seriously nailed it with our Niagara Falls native.
We take a step back from the energy here and really hone in on this absolute showstopper. For months, they’ve been teasing this song and they’ve shared teasers of it. Lucky fans either got to hear it at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago last December or from Isabelle’s cheeky personality. She is the cutest on Twitter and I think we can attribute this production to her outgoing wit. She followed ZD as a teen, aspired to make music, and is now one of the greatest names in music history. Watching her grow and rise among top talent, not only is she proud, but so are we.
