As 2020 approaches, some of the biggest festivals prepare to, once again, captivate their fans with amazingly stacked lineups. Ultra Music Festival, considered by many the biggest EDM festival in the world, revealed its Resistance lineup today. The Techno-House oriented festival organized by UMF itself will once again join the party in full force. Seen by many as the maximal expression of the pioneer genres in today’s scene, Resistance dropped an exquisitely curated first phase lineup for UMF’s next edition.
A Dreamy Lineup
Legends, newcomers, amazing b2b’s and even b3b’s mesmerize and astonish as soon as you lay eyes on this lineup. Some classic names and favorites, such as Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin surprise no one. New rising stars such as Artbat and Dom Dolla also grace this lineup, allowing the fans to find new sounds to mix with the classic ones in the way they like the most. However, and personally, at least, the most exciting part is the craziest b2b and b3b organized. Maceo Plex b2b Carl Cox, Adam Beyer b2b Cirez D, and Dubfire b3b Nicole Moudaber b3b Paco Osuna are just some of the exquisite combinations Resistance has cooked up for us.
Returning Better Than Ever
Following the impressive Resistance Island debut last March, it was almost impossible to imagine UMF 2020 without this spectacular asset. An impressive roster filled with new talent, and a brand new expanded megastructure, a celebration for the 20th performance by Resistance global ambassador Carl Cox, a debut by techno giant Amelie Lens and many more surprises await anyone who decides to take on this fully immersive experience which has gathered thousands of fans around the world with the purest sounds which created the scene we are part of today.
New Year, New Me
With Ultra developing a new layout, updating Resistance as well seems like a natural thing to do. The newest addition to the biggest house-techno experience in the world is The Cove. With its unique waterfront positioning with Biscayne Bay to the east and Biscayne Boulevard to the west, this nestled perfectly under the palm trees in the heart of downtown Miami will undoubtedly become the perfect spot to separate your soul from your body and turn it into a beat, echoing through the universe.
